I recently embarked on an unforgettable 9-day adventure across Sri Lanka, accompanied by 4 friends. We organised the entire trip through We Stay Ceylon, whose impeccable service ensured that every detail, from accommodation to transport, was taken care of seamlessly.The itinerary, which covered the iconic cities of Colombo, Habarana, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala National Park, Mirissa, Weligama, Galle Fort, and back to Colombo, provided an excellent balance of culture, nature, and relaxation.Accommodation: A Blend of Luxury and Local CharmThroughout our stay, we were fortunate to experience a wide range of accommodations, each offering something unique. Our hotel bookings included a mix of double and triple rooms, with the triple room essentially being a double room with an extra bed. While the space in the triple rooms was slightly compromised, it did not detract from the overall experience. Flexibility was key, and we made it work comfortably.Transport: A Journey Made ComfortableThe agency’s choice of transport was perfect. We were provided with a spacious, well-equipped van that was not only comfortable but also stocked with essentials such as water and umbrellas. Our driver, Priyan, was an absolute gem.
